BLAIRSVILLE, Ga. (September 21, 2011) The North Georgia Bluegrass Music and Arts Festival will be held at The Lodge at Copperhead on Saturday, September 24th, 11 am until dusk. The Garage71 Radio production is free to the general public. The festival includes arts and crafts vendors, car and bike show plus local and National bands performing at the outdoor amphitheater. The music line-up includes: The Stumblers, Jason and the Punknecks, John Sosebee Band, Husky Burnette, Sweet Georgia Brown and the Blister Sisters. Families are invited to bring blankets or lawn chairs and enjoy the music. There will be vendors on “the green” displaying unique arts & crafts for sale. Children can run and jump in a designated play area: Bounce House Amusement Center and fun slide. Car and bike enthusiasts are invited to view and vote for their favorites at the car & bike show. Food and beverages will be available outdoors and in The Lodge at Copperhead’s award-winning restaurant. A Bon Fire will close out the festival. Dining and music by Steve Taylor will follow for the evening’s entertainment at The Lodge at Copperhead. Please call ahead for evening dinner and entertainment reservations.
