THE LODGE AT COPPERHEAD HOSTS 2ND ANNUAL ARTS FEST & TOM WILLNER CONCERT

Blairsville, GA. (September 5, 2011) – The 2nd Annual Arts Fest is being held at The Lodge at Copperhead, Blairsville, GA., Saturday, September 10, 2011, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. The juried arts and crafts show features award-winning artists and this year’s emerging artist, sixteen year old Branson Byers of Douglasville, GA. Branson paintings are exhibited at the High Museum of Art, Atlanta. He is the grandson of musician Don Byers and his wife Nami, Blairsville, GA.

Enjoy the weekend events at the Lodge. Bring your special occasion and Christmas gift list and be prepared to find that special something for your loved ones. There will be paintings, sculpture, photography, pottery, original fine jewelry, stained glass, and many more crafts to choose from. General admission and parking is free to the public.

The 2nd Annual Arts Fest kicks-off with a Spirited Preview Party serving light Hors D'oeuvres, Friday, September 9, 2011, 6-9 p.m. The public is invited to meet the artists and get a sneak preview of North Georgia Finest Arts & Crafts. Tickets $5.

Singer-Songwriter and classically trained pianist, Tom Willner, will be in-house during the art show and will give impromptu performances throughout the day. Michelle Evans, Spokesperson for the Lodge, said “We are excited about our 2nd Annual Arts Fest and look forward to an evening of jazz, gospel, and reggae by Tom Willner.” Register to win two free tickets for the Noon drawing during Arts Fest.
